The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) established the Department of Extramural Studies (CUSCS) in 1965 to broaden access to educational opportunities beyond the traditional campus setting.

As an instructor at CUSCS, I led the 2008 Graduate Exhibition themed “We Love WKCD,” which captured the graduates’ aspirations for the development of the West Kowloon Cultural District. Featuring works by 85 graduates from the Higher Diploma in Commercial Design Programme, the exhibition showcased their creativity, technical excellence, and conceptual innovation.

This catalogue celebrates their accomplishments and reaffirms CUHK’s enduring commitment to fostering the next generation of design talent poised to shape the future of Hong Kong’s creative industry.
